Collateral ligament shoe

Collateral ligament shoe I made for a horse today. Prescribed by vet for a lateral laceration to pastern.
This shoe is significantly wider on the lateral branch, this allows the outside of the foot to float in soft footing and the inside to sink. Ideally causing minimal strain on the outside of the foot.
As much as I was cursing making this shoe, it’s pretty satisfying to make a pair of shoes from a piece of steel and have them nail up nicely.
